The 1st Vice District Representative serves as the Chief Advisor and Immediate  back up to the District Representative.  It is my intent to provide the DR with 

sound counsel on the activities, programs, and events occurring in the 2nd District.  To also provide indepth analysis and insight based on information gathered through communication and interaction with Chapter Officers, Committee Chairmen, Brothers of the 2nd District and Brothers of our Fraternity on those critical decisions with which he is confronted. I intend to 

carry out the duties of managing and supporting the committees of the 2nd  District by providing them the leadership and support necessary for them to 

be successful in accomplishing the goals and objectives they have been charged with by the DR.  As the 1st Vice District Representative, I intend to strive to assist the DR in providing forward thinking leadership at all levels of 

our Fraternity and keep the Second District at the forefront of the critical decisions our Fraternity faces. 

Accomplishments as District Keeper of Finance

Updated Quick Books software and converted all records; Purchased, set-up, and transferred all financial records to DKF Laptop; Updated the procedures for 

processing vouchers to improve the timeliness of payments; Developed written procedures to allow the use of Debit Cards by authorized Officers; Developed Training Syllabus for Undergraduate Chapter KFs; Developed a Financial Process Overview Syllabus for Graduate Chapter KFs; Conducted 

KF training for Undergraduates; Performed all Routine Duties and responsibilities such as monthly financial reports, bank deposits, and financial analysis in an accurate and timely manner; Performed as Program MC 

for 2009 James S. Avery Sr. Shirt Sleeve Conference; also facilitated session titled “Is Every Brother a Friend?” at 2009 James S. Avery Sr. Shirt Sleeve Conference.
